“When you’re young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don’t leap at all because there’s not always someone there to catch you. And in life, there’s no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary?”

(I believe this is semi-autobiographical, what’s that called now? A memoir?)
Chocolate is my friend. Chocolate has been pretty much my only friend ever since the break-up.
Okay, that’s not really true. The honest to god truth is I couldn’t have got through it without my real friends, but chocolate sure did help.
Chocolate was there with me late at night when I would have regularly been having sex. But since I wasn’t with the ex anymore, and hadn’t yet found a replacement for the ex, I decided to replace sex with chocolate. It only makes sense, right?
(Who needs to get out of the house? Screw it, just get me some chocolate.)

Check out my guest blogging spot over at Punkystyle. It’s just while Punky is on vacation so I’ll do my best to get some more stuff up before she gets back!
Here’s my post on Discount Designer.

But someone must find this deep water aerobics video as funny as I do.

That’s “DOING IT DEEP” in case you can’t read it. Gotta love 1992!

Dear Linnea,
Here is your horoscope
for Wednesday, September 5:
If your love life could use a little boost in one way or another, now is a great time to take a risk and tell that special someone what you’re really feeling. Fate definitely favors you, but you need to act soon.

One of my male friends actually gave me some good advice last night. We were talking about a guy he knew, and he said the guy just got out of relationship and was still kind of on the rebound. “So don’t sleep with him on the first date.”
Makes sense, would have never thought of it myself.
